omg sure so its an ice skating summer camp so we mostly play games on ice…. my top 3 faves are:
1.) “what time is it mr. fox” where the counselor is mr. fox and the kids have to ask: “what time is it mr. fox!!” and then if the response is 11 o clock they have to march forward eleven steps…. this keeps going until its dinner time when the kids have to run back to the boards to be “safe” from the fox!!!
2.) “alien” where kids bang on the boards and count down from 10, then liftoff by using the boards to push them backwards, then they skate backwards but looking forwards before a counselor calls “alien” and everyone has to skate back to the wall!!
3.) “zoo” which is what we play with the really young kiddos where they have to pretend to go to sleep bc its “night” while a counselor spreads out a bunch of beanie babies all over the ice, and when they wake up, the counselor is all like “oh NO the animals escaped from the zoo!! help me return them!!” so they gotta get the animals and put them back in the zoo/bucket
