It’s hard to describe for me. I feel like I was really just a born musician (not saying I was born a good one, jury’s still out on that one haha). I learned to write lyrics as a way of conveying feelings, but music itself is something I almost didn’t have choice in. I’m blonde. I didn’t choose that. I’m short. That’s just the way I was born. I play music, I tap my foot whenever rhythm is happening. It’s not a choice really. I sing along with the rhythm of the windshield wipers or the click of the turn signal. When music’s on I don’t want to dance, I want to play. So as far as articulating insignificance, I guess to me a life where I wouldn’t get to play music is the embodiment of insignificance (for me).

That reminds me, I was in jail once (long story, google’s got my mugshot I’m sure). It was cold, it was uncomfortable, I was alone, it sucked; it was jail. The one thing that ruled though, was the bench had a really good sound. I played “Drums,” on that bench like I were in Stomp for 4 hours and almost didn’t want to leave when they came to get me cause I was enjoying playing so much. That’s me I guess haha
