I could feel the band slipping away and I wrote about it anyway. [Folie à Deux] was more about disenchantment, slowly grieving the band, and moving on. And that was terrifying! The lyrics on 27- ‘If home is where the heart is / We’re all just fucked’ and ‘My body is an orphange / We take everyone in’ were totally about that situation. The idea was hold on, and hold it together!
